You Betcha I have just returned from Madeira where I stayed in The Royal Savoy which was brilliant and The Island was brilliant and the people were brilliant and it was safe and hardly any kids except Madeiran Kids who were very well behaved. But the find of the Holiday were 2 spirits 1)Aguardente De Cana which is the base for Poncha, jesus what a drink, mixed with Honey and Fresh lemon juice after 4 my wife says I slept 8 hours and I haven't done that for 5 years. Also there was a dark Aguadente called 970 Riserva which went brilliantly with Coffee, I'd go back just for those two things. People if you haven't been go it's fascinating. |
